for those working in end-of-life care or for anyone dying
or close to someone
who is dying. Graceful Passages is an interfaith production,
suitable for
anyone seeking some comfort. The first disc contains
messages and prayers
spoken by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, M.D.; Ram Dass, Ph.D.;
Thich Nhat Hanh;
Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi; and others who aretuned
into grief therapy
and spiritual outlooks. Original music by Gary Remal
Malkin is on disc
two an instrumental accompaniment featuring gentle piano
and guitar for people
needing soothing by sound. It is no surprise that Graceful
Passages is also a
companion to Bill Moyers' PBS series about death and
dying. Useful and
tasteful, Graceful Passages does not flinch from what
we all must deal with
sooner or later.
