TEDx Talk of Dr. Clint Rogers – Ancient Secrets of a Master Healer: Deeper Healing Solutions from an Ancient Science

For this blog entry, I’d like to reflect on two parts of the journey of preparing a TEDx talk for the prestigious TEDx Wilmington (www.tedxwilmington.com) on August 16th, 2017. One part is the experience of looking at the content of the material in my talk, content for which I have become very familiar with over the last 7 years of study, but which this experience has forced me to look at in a new way in order to share in this context. The second part is the experience of working with the TEDx Wilmington staff, Ajit George and his team of incredibly helpful and professional volunteers.

I’d like to start with the second part. In organizing 12 events this year alone, the TEDx Wilmington “tribe”, as Ajit calls them, have come up with a process to ensure quality and excellence in the people and the ideas that are shared. I really never thought before what all goes into producing such an event – but the time, effort, and care each person on the team has taken with me has impressed me deeply. To be spending so much of their lives invested in creating an event and supporting presentations that will disseminate far and wide ideas that matter, it is indeed a real labor of love, a service to humanity, and an inspiration to me.

Which brings me back to the first part. As I have been reviewing the material which is included in my TEDx talk (Ancient Secrets of a Master Healer: Deeper Healing Solutions from an Ancient Science), I am reflecting again and again on the waywe spend our lives. At the end of my presentation, I share 3 questions which were shared to me by a master healer from the Himalayas, Dr. Pankaj Naram, which so powerfully help give anyone clarity in their own direction and purpose. When I think about my own answers to the questions that I will share, I honestly feel extremely grateful for the TEDx experience as a significant part of what I really feel called to do with my life, and feel thankful for the opportunity to have precious moments on August 16th to share some key concepts and a key idea that has changed my life, and which I feel will deeply benefit anyone who listens.
